My Transformation Story

I have had these photos ready for awhile now, about a month, but I have been searching for the courage to post it. It is difficult for me to look at my before photo because it reminds me of how lost I was after the passing of my mom. I tried to put on a happy face, but a big piece of me went with my mom. I turned to food to try and fill the void and as you can see, I gained a ton of weight. It got to where I was not doing the things that I enjoyed, I didn't want to go anywhere and I was tired all of the time. It took me 4 years after my mom passed to finally get my health and fitness under control. I knew that I needed to make a change but I wasn't sure where to start. I had been watching a friend on Facebook for 4 years and she was always posting her workouts on her page. I didn't know at the time that she was a Beachbody Coach. I reached out to her in February and she told me all about it. I signed up on the spot to join her challenge group. I also decided to become a coach as well, I knew that I wanted to help other men and women who may be in the same situation as myself. Being able to help others has helped to fill that hole that was left when we lost mom. When I get a text from one of my challengers that says, "I lost 10 pounds this month and I feel great, thank you for pushing me,"

I feel great that I can motivate and encourage them to reach their goals. My mom taught me to never give up, no matter how bad it gets, you might be knee deep in shit but you can make your way through it. So that is where I am right now, knee deep but I am not stopping until I reach my goals. I am on a mission to be the best version of myself possible. Thank you to my family, friend, fellow challengers and my coach Andrea Otley you all are the best and mean more to me than you know. ðŸ’•
